Nancy Neal Yeend has served as a full time professional mediator and arbitrator, for over 20 years. She brings a practical approach to dispute resolution with a strong background in business.

She specializes in three business areas: real estate, employment and partnership disputes. Serving 16 years as a licensed real estate broker, Nancy focuses on contracts, condominium associations, leases, and disclosure issues; planning and zoning; construction and related insurance matters. Proficient in mediating a broad spectrum of employment issues including wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, ADA and Title VII matters, Nancy applies real world experiences to help resolve difficult issues.

Nancy serves on several mediation panels including the California First District Court of Appeal, Santa Clara County Superior Court, and Washington, DC based Key Bridge. She served as mediator for California and Florida Districts of EEOC.

National Judicial College faculty for 10 years, Nancy teaches how to establish court-connected ADR programs, mediation advocacy and civil mediation. She serves as adjunct faculty at Pierce Law in Concord, NH, teaching mediation of intellectual property and business disputes. She is widely published on ADR topics including appellate ADR, advanced mediation and mediation advocacy.

Nancy maintains a bicoastal mediation practice, and established the West Coast offices of the John Paul Jones Group, a national dispute resolution company with offices in Florida and California. JPJG is an Affiliate member of Silicon Valley Mediation Group, working collaboratively on a number of mediation and dispute resolution projects.

Nancy is an active member of local and national dispute resolution organizations, including Mediation Society Board of Directors, Association for Conflict Resolution, California Dispute Resolution Council, and ADR-NC. She served on California State Bar ADR Commission. She was graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Science degree, received certificates from DeAnza College in Finance and Marketing, and has completed over 600 hours of mediation and dispute resolution training, including graduate ADR courses from Antioch University, Ohio.
